Mr. Benjamin Akwu MIACHI (FIPAN) was born on 9^th August 1964 to late Elder Job Omiachi Akwu and Mrs. Esther Igbi Omiachi of Ogene Egume, Dekina LGA, Kogi State.

Mr. Miachi attended C.M.M.L Primary School, Egume from 1973 to 1979 and started his Secondary School education at Government Secondary School, Dekina from 1979 to 1981 and continued at Ochaja Secondary School, Ochaja (1981-1984) where he obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC/GCE, O/L) in 1984.

Mr. Miachi started his tertiary education at Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo (Makurdi campus) from 1985 to 1988 where he obtained his National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (ND, SLT, 1988).

Mr. Miachi holds Final Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (Chemistry/Biochemistry option) from the University of Lagos, Akoka (1994 to February 1997), Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry from Lagos State University, Ojo (1999-2001) and M.SC Analytical/Environmental Chemistry (in view).

Mr. Miachi started his laboratory working career as a Laboratory Technician at Assan Oil Mills Ltd before joining Bato Chemical Laboratories Ltd as Laboratory Analyst in 1991. At Bato Chemical Laboratories he rose to the position of Operations Manager until February 2007 when he resigned from Bato Lab to set up his own analytical laboratory outfit.

Mr. Miachi is currently the Managing Director/CEO at Remaben Scientific Services Ltd, a private Public Analyst, and IPAN registered testing laboratory that is involved in rendering analytical laboratory testing services to all sectors of the economy (2007 to date).

Mr. Miachi was admitted as a member of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria in June 2005. He is currently a Fellow of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (FIPAN). He is an active member of the Business and Corporate affairs Committee of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria, member of Ad-hoc Committee on the review of IPAN Act, member of LOC on IPAN mandatory training workshop.

In his extra-curricular activities, Mr. Miachi was the President/Chairman Board of Trustees of Ome Progressive Club Inc., Lagos (2007 to January 2021). He was Elder & President of the Men’s Fellowship at Kings Mission Centre, Dopemu (2012-February 2017), He is currently Elder, Elders Fellowship/Forum at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Chapel of Liberty Parish, Lagos Province 12, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos Nigeria (March 2017 to date).

Mr. Miachi is married to Mrs. Rose Onojo Miachi and the marriage is blessed with four (4Nos) children, Emmanuel, Mercy, Grace, and Solomon, all grown and are following fast in the footsteps of their father’s science profession.
